Create a new user

How to create a new user in a workgroup:

1.	Start Medical Database Seven.

2.	Logon as Super Administrator (default director).

3.	The control Panel opens. Click on Change Passwords (or later inside the application open the Tools menu, point to Security, and then click User and Group Accounts .

4.	On the Users page, select New.. to open the New User/Group dialog box.

5.	Create a user account , as follows:

Name: ......something..

Personal ID: 1qQsR.. (etc)

Click OK.

6.	From the User Name drop-down list, select the previous Name.

7.	From the Available Group list, select appropriate group (Full Data Users or Update Data Users).

Caution Be sure to store in a secure place the exact account name and PID, including whether letters are uppercase or lowercase. If you ever have to re-create an account, you must supply the same name and PID entries.
